ROKAmer 2000 - EO/PO block copolymer

ROKAmer 2000 - EO/PO block copolymer is a non-ionic surface-active compound belonging to the group of block copolymers of ethylene oxide and propylene oxide. It is characterized by moderate hydrophobic properties. It has wetting and degreasing properties, thanks to which it works very well as a component of detergents. The product is perfect as a component of professional detergents for dishwashers or preparations for degreasing metal surfaces. It is also used as a component of industrial bottle washing agents.

ROKAmer 2000 is a concentrated product containing about 100% of the active substance. Its aqueous solution below room temperature exists as a colorless, clear liquid. At the temperature of 23-27°C, it takes on a cloudy color. It is characterized by a low pour point below -20°.

Thanks to its properties, the product reduces the surface tension between the liquid and the air, and at the same time improves the "drainage" of the foam, resulting in its reduction.

ROKAmer 2000 belongs to high-molecular polymers with a characteristic, bifunctional structure. This group of substances has two hydrophilic groups, which definitely distinguishes the ROKAmer series from other non-ionic surfactants. Due to its low-foaming and anti-foaming properties, ROKAmer 2000 is eagerly used by manufacturers of professional industrial and institutional washing and cleaning agents. The product is willingly used in the so-called. Clean in Place systems as a component of preparations used, for example, in breweries. In this application, it works perfectly in the process of reducing foaming of washing baths even at low temperatures. It works well in a neutral or slightly alkaline environment. The product works perfectly in the presence of starch and proteins, and also shows significant resistance to hard water.

ROKAmer 2000 is a reactive substance, therefore it is easily subjected to chemical processes leading to further modification. This is possible, among others, through fatty acids. Derivatives of the product are great as anti-foaming additives in the production of paper or in the food industry, for example in the processing of sugar beets. The product can also be used in other industries where foam formation is not desired. Thus, ROKAmer 2000 can be successfully used to reduce foam in sewage treatment plants and in technological processes.

ROKAmer 2000 meets the criteria of substances approved for indirect contact with food. The American FDA (Food and Drug Administration) confirms the possibility of using the product or its derivatives as anti-foaming or defoaming substances in accordance with the guidelines set out in the FDA sections:
