ROKAnol NL8P4 - C9-11 alcohol, ethoxylated, propoxylated belongs to low-foaming non-ionic surfactants from the group of alkoxylated fatty alcohols. It comes in a highly concentrated form. The commercial product contains about 100% of the active substance. High surface activity predisposes the product as an excellent ingredient in detergents, where low foaming of the finished formulation is required. ROKAnol® NL8P4 is a surfactant that works perfectly in mixtures with anionic, cationic and other non-ionic surfactants.

ROKAnol® NL8P4 is in the form of a clear to turbid liquid, which at room temperature reaches a color of max. 200 on the Hazen scale. Its freezing point is approx

-10°C, while the cloud point varies in the temperature range of 38÷48°C in aqueous solution. The product has an increased alkali resistance - up to 40gNaOH/l. It is also characterized by hydrophilic properties, which determine its good solubility in low aliphatic alcohols and in water. It is also suitable for use in formulations containing oxidizing and reducing agents. It also behaves perfectly in a hard water environment.

Due to the numerous functions and properties, ROKAnol® NL8P4 is a raw material used in the production of both acidic and alkaline detergents for professional use in the washing, cleaning and industrial laundry industry. The use of this product in ready-made formulations ensures proper wetting of the cleaned surfaces and high efficiency in removing dirt and all kinds of dirt from hard surfaces, as well as from fabrics and knitted fabrics. Therefore, the product is particularly recommended for use in the removal of oil stains (mineral oils) resulting from industrial knitting and weaving processes.

As a component of professional washing detergents, Rokanol® NL8P4 interacts very well with other non-ionic surfactants, alkalis or anionic surfactants, such as ABSNa. Thanks to its high wetting capacity, the product is used as a component of bleaching compositions for raw cotton fabrics and knitted fabrics. It also improves the efficiency of the bleaching process, which has a direct impact on increasing the capillarity of the dye in dyeing processes.

ROKAnol NL8P4 - C9-11 alcohol is also used as an additive to plant protection products and adjuvants, where the reduction of the contact angle affects the effectiveness of active substances contained in various types of pesticides.

Thanks to its very good wetting properties, the product is also an effective additive in the production of paints, also affecting the process of reducing foam in the formulation.

ROKAnol® NL8P4 is a biodegradable surfactant and meets the biodegradability criteria set out in Regulation (EC) No. 648/2004 on detergents.

ROKAnol® NL8P4 is a surfactant that meets the safety standards for textile products set by the world's leading textile institutes, such as the Oeko-Tex Standard Association or the ZDHC Program.
