Rokopol M1170

Rokopol® M1170 can be used for the production of highly flexible polyurethane foams using the continuous (slabstock) system, batch production (batch) or the production of molded foams. With the use of polyol and appropriately selected additives (catalysts, silicones, foaming agents), it is possible to produce blocks of super-elastic foam with a rectangular cross-section and a height of up to 120 cm. Thanks to its excellent parameters, the product can be widely used in the furniture, automotive and acoustic insulation industries.

Main application advantages of Rokopol® M1170:

• the ability to produce foams with densities from 20 to 80 kg/m3 with hardness ranges from 0.6 - 3kPa and flexibility above 40%,
• the use of the product allows the production of foam with a breaking strength above 40kPa and a relative elongation at break above 200%,
• in combination with vTec series polyols, it can be used for the production of viscoelastic foams,
• products based on Rokopol® 1170 are characterized by a very high comfort factor,
• wide range of densities and high scorch resistance.

The most common applications of Rokopol® M1170:

• used for the production of high-quality flexible foams, soft&hypersoft foams and gel foams,
• in the furniture industry used for the production of mattresses and pillows with an increased comfort factor,
• product used for the production of car seats in the automotive industry as a comfortable material,
• polyol can be used in combination with Rokopol® F3600 to reduce the hardness of standard foam or super soft foams,
• product used for the production of HR type foams, thermoplastic foams and as a cell-opener.
