Rokopol® RF151 is a product dedicated to the production of PUR polyurethane systems with higher viscosity, high flame retardant content and very good mechanical properties of rigid foam. The product is recommended in particular for spray applications of rigid PUR foam with a low lambda value, relatively low density and good adhesion to polyurethane foam and other surfaces, including metal and wood. Mannich polyols show very good miscibility with typical polyols for rigid foam application, i.e. sorbitol, sugar, and most polyester polyols. This provides a lot of freedom in designing new polyurethane rigid foam systems. The product is widely used mainly in the construction industry.
Main application advantages of Rokopol® RF151:
- the possibility of reducing catalysis, especially important when using new physical foaming agents that have a negative effect on catalytic systems;
- improved mechanical properties of the rigid foam core;
- aromatic chemical structure, ensuring improved flammability properties of rigid foam;
- homogeneous and fine cellular structure of rigid PUR foam;
The most common applications of PUR Rokopol® RF151:
- spray foam SPF;
- PUR closed-cell foam for thermal insulation;
- continuous systems for the production of PUR sandwich panels;
- rigid foams;
- used in spray thermal and acoustic insulation;
- used as a component for the production of sandwich panels and insulation boards;
Products manufactured on the basis of Rokopol® RF151 are characterized by excellent quality. Thanks to the refined production process, this polyol is characterized by very good parameters not only in PUR systems.
Properties and applications:
- a product dedicated to the production of PUR systems;
- very high quality of the final product due to the physicochemical properties of the polyol;
- used in closed-cell insulation foams;
- used in SPF spray foam systems;
- used as a component for the production of sandwich panels and insulation boards;
- has very good mechanical parameters;
- improved flammability properties due to the aromatic chemical structure;
