ROSULfan D - Sodium salt of decyl alcohol

ROSULfan D - Sodium salt of decyl alcohol is an anionic surfactant that is the sodium salt of sulfated decyl alcohol. It is present in a concentration ranging from 35% to 37% of the active substance in an aqueous solution. The advantage of the product is the ability to eliminate viscosity increase and related problems in dosing systems. This is possible due to the low tendency of the product to gel in electrolyte solutions. The product is colorless, but may also be present as a light yellow liquid. It is characterized by excellent foaming properties. Thanks to them, it is able to generate high and stable foams with small bubble diameters, even in mixtures containing hard water.

Due to its very good foaming properties, ROSULfan D is successfully used in the construction industry as an air-entraining additive in the production of plasterboards. The product is also a very effective additive to drilling muds used in tunneling processes. Here, the wetting and foaming properties of ROSULfan D are particularly valuable. High foaming and wetting abilities also determine the effectiveness of using the product as an additional foam stabilizer in formulations of active washing agents used in self-service car washes.

The product is also a highly effective and effective component of synthetic extinguishing agents. It is the basic foaming agent here. Importantly, the product works perfectly in combination with other surfactants offered by the PCC Group. The product can be used as a component of alkaline extinguishing agents with a tolerance to a lye solution with a concentration of up to 90 g/l.

ROSULfan D is a surfactant easily biodegradable in the natural environment. The product complies with the biodegradability criteria set out in Regulation (EC) No. 648/2004 on detergents.
