Anti-foaming agent - 9003-11-6 - ROKAmer 2950 is a block copolymer of ethylene oxide and propylene oxide. It belongs to the family of non-ionic surfactants. The product is a high-molecular polymer with a bifunctional structure. It therefore has two hydrophilic groups. This is a characteristic feature of ROKAmers, which distinguishes them from other non-ionic surfactants and determines their utility features. The product shows low- and anti-foaming properties. It is widely used in industrial and institutional washing.

ROKAmer 2950 is available as a liquid or a light yellow, runny paste. The product solidifies at temperatures below 15°C. It contains approximately 100% of the active substance. Diluted water solutions of ROKAmer 2950 become cloudy in the temperature range of 54-60°C. Due to its properties, the product reduces the surface tension between the liquid and the air, while improving the "drainage" of foam, resulting in its reduction.

ROKAmer 2950 is perfect for the production of professional detergent preparations for institutional and industrial cleaning. It is used in some industrial processes. It is a hydrophilic substance with good degreasing and wetting properties. The surfactant is also used as a component of professional preparations for dishwashers. It works very well in the formulations of detergents for industrial bottle cleaning and as a component of preparations for degreasing metals.

The excellent anti-foaming properties of ROKAmer 2950 determine its use in paper production and industrial production processes where the problem of excessive foaming of technological water or wastewater occurs.

Anti-foaming agent - 9003-11-6 - ROKAmer 2950, ​​is a product suitable for use in Clean in Place systems, e.g. as a component of cleaning formulations dedicated to breweries. Its anti-foaming function, achieved already at low temperatures, reduces foaming of washing baths, also in the presence of proteins or starch. The compound shows resistance to hard water. It works perfectly in slightly alkaline or neutral mixtures.

ROKAmer 2950 is silicone-free. It complies with regulations allowing the product to come into indirect contact with food. The American Food and Drug Administration (FDA) allows the use of this product and its derivatives as an antifoaming agent under the conditions described in the following FDA sections:
