Low foaming agent - 68439-51-0 - ROKAnol L80/50 belongs to the group of non-ionic surfactants of the alkoxylated fatty alcohol type. The product contains about 50% of active substance. At room temperature it is a clear, viscous liquid with a solidification temperature of about -1°C. What distinguishes it from other low foaming products is its high hydrophilicity and the formation of stable, clear aqueous solutions up to 100°C.

The product belongs to the ROKAnol LP series, which create a large group of low-foaming products, dedicated to processes requiring non-ionic surfactants with particularly reduced foaming. At the same time, it is important to maintain their application parameters, especially in institutional and industrial washing processes.

One of the most important advantages of this product is its foaming properties, which are significantly lower than in the case of non-ionic surfactants typically used in detergents (e.g. lauryl alcohol ethoxylate) while maintaining similar product stability in an alkaline environment.

The combination of high alkali resistance with low foaming properties means that ROKAnol L80/50W is used primarily in alkaline detergents for professional industrial and institutional washing, or as a component of auxiliary formulations in the textile industry. The product provides optimal detergency in alkaline conditions and low foaming, which is very important because intensive foam can disturb the washing process, especially in continuous processes. The product can also be used in other cleaning formulations with increased alkalinity, such as bottle washing preparations, as well as CIP (Clean In Place) processes. Low foaming agent - 68439-51-0 - ROKAnol L80/50 is completely biodegradable and meets the criteria of the detergent directive.

Due to its highly hydrophilic nature , ROKAnol L80/50W is also used as a hydrophilic dispersant and emulsifier in a number of industrial applications, e.g. in metalworking fluids.
