ROKAnol DB3 is a non-ionic surfactant belonging to the group of ethoxylated fatty alcohols . The INCI name of this product is C12-15 Pareth-3. This surfactant is one of the products that make up the ROKAnol DB series, which is based on fatty alcohols with a C12-C15 carbon chain.

ROKAnol DB3 shows a very pronounced surface activity , thanks to which this surfactant is perfect for the production of high-performance washing and cleaning detergents . The high level of surface activity of this product opens up a number of possibilities for using the products in many other industrial applications.

ROKAnol DB3 blends perfectly with other non-ionic, cationic and anionic surfactants. It can be successfully used as a raw material in the production of alkyl ether sulphates.

The commercial product is in the form of a liquid or a colorless to straw-colored paste . It is characterized by a very high concentration of the active substance of about 100% .

The solidification point of ROKAnol DB3 is about 10°C. At elevated temperature (about 40°C) the product takes on a light color, maximum 70 on the Hazen scale.

The hydroxyl number of the product is between 164-172 mgKOH/g. ROKAnol DB3 is a compound that is poorly soluble in water and tends to form emulsions.

ROKAnol DB3 is a product with good dispersing and emulsifying properties. It is very effective in removing greasy, dried stains from textiles.

This surfactant, thanks to its effective detergency properties, is a raw material willingly used as a component of professional cleaning agents, especially those dedicated to institutional washing.

ROKAnol DB3 works perfectly with higher ethoxylates, e.g. with ROKAnol® DB7. This enhances the detergent properties of the finished product . The product also has the ability to emulsify oil impurities in washing baths, which is highly desirable in the industry.

A very big advantage of the surfactant is the ability to reduce the foaming of other, well-soluble, non-ionic surfactants contained in the formulation. In addition, due to the dispersing, emulsifying and wetting properties of the product, it can be used in the production of cosmetic preparations (e.g. hair dyes)

Another application of ROKAnol DB3 are plant protection products , mainly EC, EW, SE herbicide preparations. The product also works well as an emulsifying agent in metal treatment and degreasing processes.

In addition, ROKAnol® DB3 is a very effective surfactant that is a component of agents for commercial applications and preparations for industrial and institutional applications.

ROKAnol® DB3 is biodegradable. Meets the criteria of the Detergents Directive.
