The non-ionic surfactant ROKAnol DB7W is an agent belonging to ethoxylated fatty alcohols with the INCI name: C12-15 Pareth-7. It contains about 90% of the substance in its composition. Due to its high surface activity, this compound works perfectly as a component of detergents and cleaning agents. The product belongs to the ROKAnol DB series manufactured on the basis of fatty alcohol with a carbon distribution of C12-C15.

The product contains about 90% of the active substance. The hydrophilic-lipophilic balance (HLB) of the product is 12, which makes it well soluble in water. Its aqueous solution becomes cloudy at a temperature of 48-52°C.

ROKAnol DB7W at room temperature takes the form of a clear, light-coloured liquid, i.e. 70 on the Hazen scale. It solidifies only at a temperature of about 5°C, which facilitates its use and storage.

ROKAnol DB7W non-ionic surfactant is the most universal product in the ROKAnol DB group used in detergents. It has excellent wetting properties and very good foaming. It is stable in oxidizing and reducing environments, as well as in the presence of hard water. The product is activated in cold water, in acidic, neutral and diluted alkali baths. Due to its excellent degreasing and detergent properties, it allows for a high level of dirt removal. Using the product in cleaning agents allows for the creation of clear, stable formulations, often without the use of hydrotropes.

Moreover, ROKAnol DB7W has very good dispersing properties and is an effective emulsifier. Like ROKAnol DB7, it is distinguished by excellent wetting properties and very good foaming. ROKAnol DB7W, thanks to its numerous application advantages, allows it to be used as a universal ingredient in most detergents. It is used in the production of, among others, dishwashing liquids, washing liquids and capsules, bleaches, floor liquids, glass cleaning liquids (including car windows).

It is also used in specialist cleaning agents for industrial and institutional use. These include products for professional washing of restaurant and hospital fabrics, for machine cleaning of hard surfaces in production plants and markets, alkaline agents for degreasing metal surfaces, or preparations used in CIP processes – Cleaning In Place.

It has cleansing and emulsifying properties, which is why ROKAnol DB7W is perfect for use in cosmetic formulations, mainly in hair washing and care cosmetics.

It is also used as an emulsifying agent in the production of bituminous masses (asphalts) and adhesives.

The lack of ionic forms in the chemical structure of the product allows it to be used in combination with other non-ionic surfactants and in formulations containing anionic and cationic surfactants, as well as other auxiliaries.

ROKAnol DB7W is highly biodegradable and meets the criteria of the Detergents Directive.
