Iron coagulant PIX 110 canister 20 l - aqueous solution of iron (III) chlorosulfate is used in the process of purifying municipal and industrial wastewater (chemical, food industry). It is also used to precipitate phosphorus from wastewater, remove hydrogen sulphide and treat process water in industry. Net weight of the product approx. 30 kg.
PIX 110 coagulant – has high quality in accordance with the European standard EN 890:2012 type 2. Shelf life: 6 months. PIX 110 is used to treat municipal and industrial sewage, precipitate phosphorus from sewage, and prevent the formation of struvite. It is also used to remove gaseous hydrogen sulphide, which is responsible for the unpleasant smell. Another function that PIX 110 fulfills in sewage treatment is sludge conditioning. This process consists in changing the structure of the sludge and the surface state of the dispersed solid phase particles, causing an increase in the size of the particles and a decrease in the forces that bind them to water. The use of PIX 110 coagulant in sewage treatment is one of the chemical methods of sludge conditioning, which shows the greatest effectiveness.
Dosing should be carried out using corrosion-resistant diaphragm pumps. The product should be used undiluted.
