Kosmetischer Rohstoff Laureth-10 - ROKAnol L10

Cosmetic raw material Laureth-10 - ROKAnol L10 is a non-ionic surfactant belonging to the group of ethoxylated fatty alcohols, INCI name: Laureth-10. It co-creates a group of surfactants based on lauryl alcohol. It takes the form of a paste with a color of max. 70 on the Hazen scale at 40°C. ROKAnol L10 has very good solubility in water. The HLB parameter value for this product is about 14.1. The commercial product contains over 99% of the active substance and solidifies at a temperature of approx. 30°C.

ROKAnol L10 is characterized by higher hydrophilicity compared to ROKAnol L7. It has additional emulsifying and solubilizing properties. Thanks to its high cloud point value in water, it can be used in applications requiring high temperature.

Thanks to its very good detergent, wetting, dispersing and emulsifying properties, the product is used as a basic surfactant in liquid and powder detergents, dishwashing liquids, household and technical cleaning agents and hand cleaners. In combination with ROKAnol LK3 it gives a high detergent effect and limits dirt redeposition.

ROKAnol L10 can be used in the environment of oxidizing, reducing agents and hard water. It is activated in cold water, in acidic and neutral baths, as well as in diluted alkalis. It shows higher resistance to alkaline environment than ROKAnol L7. ROKAnol L10 can be used in a mixture with other non-ionic auxiliary agents and in mixtures with anionic and cationic surfactants. In a mixture with alkyl sulfates and alkylarylsulfonates it shows synergistic washing and cleaning action.

Cosmetic raw material Laureth-10 - ROKAnol L10 works great in cosmetic preparations, including for washing and care of the skin and hair, in color cosmetics, sunscreens, shaving and aftershave. In addition, the product is used in fiber pre-treatment processes, as a component of a formulation removing oil stains (mineral oils) from fabric/knitwear, which are the result of industrial knitting and weaving processes. Thanks to its wetting properties of cotton fabric, it can be used as a component of a bleaching composition for raw knitwear and cotton fabrics. It is also used in the final stage of the dyeing process of textile materials as one of the components removing excess dyes from the bath.

ROKAnol L10 is biodegradable in the natural environment.

• removes oil stains from knitwear and fabrics,
• bleaching baths in textiles,
• washing baths after dyeing fabrics/knitwear.
