C10-Alkohol, ethoxyliert - ROKAnol GA5 - CAS 160875-66-1

ROKAnol GA5 is a non-ionic surfactant from the group of ethoxylated fatty alcohols. The product belongs to the family of surfactants produced on the basis of C10 Guerbet alcohol. It occurs in the form of a concentrated liquid with a tendency to delaminate. It contains about 99% of active substance. Its cloud point is determined for a 16.7% solution in a 25% BDG solution and is within the range of 54÷57°C.

ROKAnol GA5 solidifies at about 10°C. At 50°C it takes on a light colour (max. 50 on the Hazen scale). It forms cloudy solutions in water, but is highly soluble in organic solvents such as acetone or methanol.

The product shows very good compatibility with other non-ionic, as well as anionic and cationic surface-active substances.

ROKAnol GA5 is characterized by very good wetting properties, which can be crucial for many applications, from cleaning hard surfaces to processing textiles. In addition, the product generates very low foams, which is a very desirable feature in the case of compositions where high foams are not desired.

In dynamic tests improvising the action of the degreasing bath, the product achieves excellent results. Therefore, it works perfectly as a component of preparations dedicated to industrial washing and degreasing agents, especially in the case of smooth surfaces, which include glass or metal.

ROKAnol GA5 is also successfully used in the production of textile auxiliaries (wet processing and dyeing agents), as well as degreasing preparations in detergents for professional and home use, and in agents for degreasing metal surfaces.

ROKAnol GA5 is a biodegradable product and meets the criteria of the Detergents Directive.
