ROKAfos 385 is an anionic surfactant belonging to the group of phosphoric esters. The product is manufactured based on ethoxylated 2-ethylhexyl alcohol. At 25°C it occurs in the form of a viscous, clear liquid. It can also take on a cloudy color. ROKAfos 385 is offered in the form of a sodium salt with an active substance content of about 85%. The product's solidification temperature is about 4°C, while its density at 25°C is about 1.13 g/ml.
It is widely used in the textile and metallurgical industries and in the production of detergents, especially in the production of hard surface cleaning agents. ROKAfos 385 also has hydrotropic properties. This means that the product allows for better solubility of other substances in water, especially in an alkaline environment. ROKAfos 385 also has good anti-corrosion properties, especially in the case of ferrous metals.
