Schaummittel ROKAfenol N6P4

Low-foaming agent ROKAfenol N6P4 belongs to the group of non-ionic surfactants. It is a nonylphenyl copolymer of ethylene oxide and propylene oxide. The commercial product is in the form of a liquid with an oily character.

ROKAfenol N6P4 has good solubility in water, but only at temperatures below 17°C, because it becomes cloudy when heated. This is due to the low cloud point of 17-20°C in aqueous solution. However, the cloud point of the product for butyl diglycol/water solution is in the range of 36-42°C. The freezing point is around 0°C, and the active substance content is around 100%.

Low foaming agent ROKAfenol N6P4 is used as a component of washing, cleaning and laundry detergents. It has excellent emulsifying and dispersing properties. Its characteristic feature is low foaming. In some formulations it is used as an antifoaming agent.

ROKAfenol N6P4 is emulsifiable in aqueous and non-aqueous systems containing other surfactants, mineral and vegetable oils and organic solvents. It is a surface-active compound that retains its washing properties in cold and hard water. ROKAfenol N6P4 can be used in a mixture with other non-ionic auxiliaries and together with anionic and cationic agents.
