Plastic is not as scary as it is painted

From year to year, care for the natural environment is gaining more and more recognition among Poles. Despite the fact that we still often see mixed waste in recycling bins, it is gratifying to see that more and more of us are paying attention to the segregation of plastics. And very well, because most of them are reusable. The same is true for polyethylene, which is used to produce packaging.

Today's extrusion blow molding technology, the so-called Extrusion Blow Molding enables the use of fully recyclable polyethylene for the production of packaging for many industries, including household chemicals, professional chemicals, cosmetics and food products.

Such packaging is, for example, bottles intended for shampoos, washing liquids or dishwashing liquids, just look at the bottom of the bottle and you will see HDPE, PP or PE markings. This means that the packaging is made of polyethylene, a material that can be reused. What's more, it is one of the most 'sought-after' wastes, because after cleaning it can be immediately ground and reused as a material for the production of new packaging.

PCC Packaging uses HDPE plastic, which is considered one of the safest, which makes it suitable for storing food. Modern, fully electric machines (Extrusion Blow Molding) of PCC Packaging significantly increase productivity, reduce cycle time by 15%, and significantly reduce waste and enable full control of the production process. The material from the waste is reused, and the defective products are shredded and, becoming a full-fledged raw material, return to the process.

However, we must remember that in order to be able to use the packaging again, we must not forget about the segregation of our waste at home, regardless of what material it was made of.

Recycled packaging is not only saving money, but also protecting the environment. Recycling "plastic" not only did not need to be produced, so more crude oil remained on the market, but such crude oil did not need to be extracted, transported from the extraction site to the refinery, or subjected to an energy-intensive refining process. Refined products did not need to be further processed, etc. The environmental benefits from packaging recycling are not only less waste in landfills, but above all less oil extracted, less energy used for its transport and processing. If we want to leave the planet to our children in a state still suitable for life, let's teach them to segregate waste today. During everyday shopping, pay attention to whether the products we buy are packed in recycled packaging and whether the materials contained in them can be recycled.
