EXOfos PB-184 is an anionic surfactant from the group of phosphate esters (CAS 39464-69-2). This product is based on ethoxylated oleyl alcohol. The commercial product is in acidic form. It is in the form of a viscous liquid at room temperature.

EXOfos PB-184 has an acid number up to the first inflection point in the range of 82 to 92 mg KOH/g and the second inflection point in the range of 135 to 160 mg KOH/g and a phosphorus content of up to 2%. The product is well soluble in water.

EXOfos PB-184 is an anionic surfactant with exceptional EP anti-seize and lubricating properties. It works perfectly as an emulsifier. These features make the product successfully used in the production of specialized liquids for metalworking.

EXOfos PB-184 is a product that is widely used as a component of semi-synthetic, high-oil liquids and oils. In a neutralized form, the surfactant has mild wetting and detergency properties, which is why it is also a component of the formulation of preparations dedicated to washing and cleaning hard surfaces.
