Surfactant Isotrideceth-3 ROKAnol IT3 IBC 900 kg

ROKAnol IT3 is a non-ionic surfactant. This surfactant belongs to the group of ethoxylated fatty alcohols with the INCI name: Isotrideceth-3. It comes in a highly concentrated form and contains about 100% of the active substance.

The product co-creates the group of ROKAnols of the IT series, which are based on isotridecyl alcohol (iso-C13). The product contains about 100% of the active substance. Poorly soluble in water. Easily forms emulsions.

ROKAnol IT3 is a clear or slightly turbid liquid that tends to delaminate. At 40°C, it shows high clarity and a bright color of max. 100 on the Hazen scale. It solidifies at about -20°C.

Compared to other ROKAnols belonging to the IT series, ROKAnol® IT3 is characterized by high hydrophobicity. It is characterized by a low cloud point in the temperature range of 48÷51 ^o C (in butyldiglycol/water solution).

The non-ionic nature of ROKAnol IT3 makes the product work very well with other non-ionic, anionic and cationic surface-active compounds.

Among the ROKAnol IT series, ROKAnol IT3 is distinguished by the fact that it does not have foaming abilities. It has excellent detergent, emulsifying and dispersing properties.

The product works very well as a co-surfactant in various types of cleaning preparations, especially in formulations dedicated to industrial and institutional applications.

Together with ROKAnol IT8 and IT9, the product is used in the production of professional detergents for institutional washing, where it ensures very high efficiency.

ROKAnol IT3 is also used as components of personal hygiene products, where it performs washing and emulsifying functions. It is a component of such products as, for example: shower gels, liquid soaps.

The product is also used as an emulsifier of fragrances, e.g. in fragrance mists for hair and body. The ability of the product to emulsify oils is also successfully used in the production of aerosol air fresheners.

ROKAnol IT3 is used in many other industrial applications, including iron ore enrichment processes. The product also has the ability to emulsify mineral oil. This property predisposes it to be used in preparations for removing stains from machine oil (mineral) during the pre-treatment of fabrics or knitted fabrics. ROKAnol IT3 as a co-surfactant is also used in formulations dedicated to the bleaching of cotton fibres.

ROKAnol IT3 is also used in plant protection products, mainly in EC, EW and SE liquid pesticide formulations.

In addition, the product is a proven component of air-entraining admixtures for concrete and cement mortars. Used in this application, it provides excellent wetting of cement grains, as well as facilitates the introduction of fine air bubbles into the molded mass. This improves the plasticity of the fresh mix, where air bubbles act as bearings, increasing the workability of the mix without changing the W/C ratio.

ROKAnol IT3 is a biodegradable product. Meets the biodegradability criteria of Regulation (EC) No. 648/2004 on detergents.

The product is available in Kosher and Kosher Pareve options.
