ROKAmer 2100 - EO/PO block copolymer belongs to non-ionic surfactants from the group of block copolymers of ethylene oxide and propylene oxide. The product is a high-molecular copolymer with a specific, bifunctional structure, which means that it has two hydrophilic groups. This feature distinguishes the ROKAmer group from other non-ionic surfactants and determines their properties. The product is in the form of a colorless and clear liquid, containing about 100% of the active substance. It has a low freezing point (below 0°C). ROKAmer 2100 aqueous solutions turn cloudy at 23-27°C, and become clear below room temperature. The product is a reactive substance, so it can undergo further chemical modification. In addition, it is a product resistant to hard water.

ROKAmer 2100 shows excellent low-foaming and anti-foaming properties, which predisposes it to be used as a component of professional washing and cleaning detergents. It is also characterized by good degreasing and wetting properties as well as moderate hydrophobicity. These features make it successfully used, among others, as a component of dishwasher detergents, metal degreasers and for industrial bottle washing.

ROKAmer 2100 works great in Clean in Place systems. It is a component of washing mixtures in brewing. Thanks to its anti-foaming and defoaming properties, the product reduces foam in washing baths, even in the presence of starch and proteins. Thanks to its properties, it reduces the surface tension between the liquid and the air, and at the same time improves the "drainage" of the foam, resulting in its reduction. ROKAmer derivatives are perfect as anti-foaming additives in the production of paper, in the food industry during the production of sugar and in other industries where there is a problem of excessive foaming of process water or sewage.

ROKAmer 2100 is also a surfactant dedicated to the agrochemical industry, where it is an ingredient mainly in EC, SC, SE pesticide formulations.

The product and its derivatives have been approved as anti-foaming substances for indirect contact with food by the FDA (Food and Drug Administration) in accordance with the guidelines set out in the following sections of the FDA:
