ROKAfenol N12 has very good detergent properties against various fibres, both wool and cotton, as well as chemical fibres, as well as bristles and leather. Thanks to excellent dispersing and emulsifying properties, it effectively supports washing processes. What's more, the product is very good at wetting, also at low temperatures, while increasing the hydrophilicity of the treated fibers. ROKAfenol N12 is resistant to elevated temperatures and high concentrations of electrolytes. For this reason, it can be used in difficult conditions of use, e.g. when washing wool and cooking cotton, as well as components of lubricants for ingots and dies for the metal industry. Good solubility in water (through the gelation stage), resistance to oxidizing and reducing agents, stability in acids and alkalis and the ability to prevent the precipitation of calcium salts make the product an excellent detergent and emulsifier for the textile, leather and pulp and paper industries.

ROKAfenol N12 is useful as a penetrator in bleaching baths, in carbonization, fulling and finishing in the textile industry. Due to its non-ionic nature, ROKAfenol N12 creates compatible systems with other non-ionic auxiliary agents and with anionic and cationic surfactants. This allows the creation of a wide range of new products with a wide range of applications.

With a high concentration of electrolytes, the product can be used in alkaline metal cleaning. ROKAfenol N12 is also effective in metallurgical processes as a wetting agent in compositions with corrosion inhibitors, in acid pickling baths and as an emulsifier in emulsion cleaning operations. It is a very good emulsifier of silicone resins and is used as a component of emulsions resistant to high temperatures used in the glass industry to lubricate molds.

The product can also be used as a stabilizer of rubber emulsions, synthetic latexes, natural and synthetic waxes, polishing agents and finishes obtained on their basis, and as dispersants for the production of varnish emulsions based on rubber latex, also with high calcium concentration in emulsion varnishes.

The provisions of the European Union (Regulation of the European Parliament and of the Council (EC) No. 648/2004 of March 31, 2004 on detergents) limit its use to industrial cleaning, textile and leather processing and metal processing using closed circuits, where the working fluid is recycled or burned.
