Low-foaming ingredient of ROKAfenol N6P6 detergents, 60 kg canister

The low-foaming component of ROKAfenol N6P6 detergents is a nonyl phenyl ether of a copolymer of ethylene oxide and propylene oxide belonging to the non-ionic surfactants from the group of alkoxylated nonyl phenols. The product is in the form of an oily liquid. Its freezing point is below 0°C. The content of the active substance here is about 100%.

The product has a low cloud point of 18 to 21°C in aqueous solution. Therefore, it shows good solubility in water at temperatures below 18°C. When heated, it quickly becomes cloudy. ROKAfenol N6P6 has the ability to create emulsions in aqueous and non-aqueous systems containing other surfactants, as well as vegetable oils, mineral oils or organic solvents.

ROKAfenol N6P6 is a non-foaming compound often used in the production of washing and cleaning detergents. It maintains deferential properties while fulfilling the function of emulsifier or dispersant in formulations.

Thanks to its low-foaming properties, ROKAfenol N6P6 ensures that no excessive, undesirable foam will be formed during its use in process conditions. The product is therefore used as an anti-foaming agent in some industrial formulations.

ROKAfenol N6P6 is a surface active compound in hard and cold water. Even under these conditions, its deterrent properties are stable. The product shows synergy of action in mixtures with other non-ionic additives, as well as with cationic and anionic surfactants.
