Anti-foam agent - 9003-11-6 - ROKAmer 2950 is a block copolymer of ethylene oxide and propylene oxide. It belongs to the family of non-ionic surfactants. The product is a high-molecular polymer with a bifunctional structure. Thus, it has two hydrophilic groups. This is a characteristic feature of ROKAmers, which distinguishes them from other non-ionic surfactants and determines their functional properties. The product has low- and anti-foaming properties. It is widely used in industrial and institutional cleaning.

ROKAmer 2950 comes in the form of a liquid or a pourable, light yellow paste. The product solidifies at temperatures below 15°C. It contains about 100% of the active substance. Diluted water solutions of ROKAmer 2950 become cloudy in the temperature range of 54-60°C. Thanks to its properties, the product reduces the surface tension between the liquid and the air, and at the same time improves the "drainage" of the foam, resulting in its reduction.

ROKAmer 2950 is perfect for the production of professional detergent preparations for institutional and industrial washing. It is used in some industrial processes. It is a hydrophilic substance with good degreasing and wetting properties. The surfactant is also used as a component of professional dishwasher preparations. It works very well in formulations of washing agents for industrial bottle washing and as a component of preparations for degreasing metals.

Excellent anti-foaming properties of ROKAmer 2950 determine its use in paper production and industrial production processes, where there is a problem of excessive foaming of process water or sewage.

Anti-foam agent - 9003-11-6 - ROKAmer 2950 is a product suitable for use in Clean in Place systems, e.g. as a component of washing formulations dedicated to breweries. Its anti-foaming function, achieved already at low temperatures, reduces the foaming of washing baths, also in the presence of proteins or starch. The compound is resistant to hard water. Works great in slightly alkaline or neutral mixtures.

ROKAmer 2950 does not contain silicone. It complies with the regulations allowing the product to come into direct contact with food. The US FDA (Food and Drug Administration) allows the use of this product and its derivatives as an anti-foam under the conditions described in the following sections of the FDA:
