A non-ionic surfactant used as a semi-finished product for the preparation of washing and cleaning agents. It is resistant to acids, hard water and partially to alkalis. The product can be mixed with other non-ionic, anionic and cationic surfactants in aqueous and non-aqueous environments.

ROKAnol DB9 has very good dispersing abilities and is an effective emulsifier. The product can be used in the formulation of cutting coolants, especially in semi-synthetic and synthetic fluids. It is also used in specialty cleaners for industrial and institutional use. Here you can mention e.g. preparations for machine cleaning of hard surfaces in production plants and supermarkets, as well as alkaline agents for degreasing metal surfaces.

Due to the lack of ionic forms in the chemical structure of the product, it can be used in combination with other non-ionic surfactants and in formulations with anionic and cationic surfactants and other additives.

ROKAnol DB9 is a biodegradable product. The product complies with the biodegradability criteria set out in Regulation (EC) No. 648/2004 on detergents.

The commercial form of ROKAnol DB9 has the form of a cloudy liquid or paste at room temperature with a tendency to delamination. The content of the active substance is about 100%. At 40°C it is a light colored liquid, i.e. max. 100 on the Hazen scale, while at a temperature of about 26 ° C it solidifies. The hydrophilic-lipophilic balance (HLB) of the product is about 13, which makes the product well soluble in water.

ROKAnol DB9 is distinguished by good wetting properties and very good foaming. It is stable in both oxidizing and reducing environments as well as in the presence of hard water. The product is active in cold water, in acidic, neutral and diluted alkali baths. It shows very good degreasing and detergent properties, which allows for a high level of dirt removal.
