Polyurethane adhesive ROKANATEM PE 0601

Rokanate M PE 0601 is a one-component polyurethane adhesive based on MDI mixture with low functionality (2.0-2.2). It comes in the form of a clear light yellow liquid. It is characterized by viscosity at 25°C in the range of 450-900 mPas, with the content of NCO groups in the range of 5.2-6.2%. It is used for the production of blocks from flexible foam scraps, e.g. type of HR while maintaining high flexibility.

ROKANATE M PE 0601 does not contain organic solvents. It is cured with moisture from steam blowing.

Recommended processing conditions:

Raw materials for production should be dry and degreased. The foam granulate should be fed into the hopper and the adhesive should be added in the amount of 8 - 15%. The exact amount of glue depends on the type of foam, the thickness of the fraction and its purity. Then mix the ROKANATE M PE 0601 adhesive with the foam for about 5 - 10 minutes. The mixture obtained in this way is poured into the mold and then served with steam at a temperature of 150 - 160oC for 5 to 8 minutes. The resulting block is removed from the mold and left for 24 hours at 20oC for seasoning. After this time, the block acquires full mechanical strength and further processing can be carried out.
