ROKAnol GA7W is an ethoxylated Guerbet C10 alcohol with an average degree of ethoxylation of 7 moles. The product is used as a component of washing, washing and cleaning agents and as an emulsifier in industrial applications. It can be used in the environment of oxidizing agents, reducing agents and hard water. It is active in cold water, in acidic, neutral and dilute baths and in neutral alkalis. ROKAnol® GA7W can be used in a mixture with other non-ionic auxiliary agents and in mixtures with anionic and cationic surfactants.

ROKAnol GA7W forms cloudy solutions in water, while it is soluble in organic solvents such as methanol or acetone. The cloud point of this product is 67-70°C in BDG solution (16.7%). ROKAnol GA7W shows moderate resistance to both acids and alkalis. It can be part of mixtures with other non-ionic, as well as anionic and cationic surfactants.

ROKAnol GA7W is characterized by low foaming capacity as for an ethoxylated product, which means that it can be used in preparations where the presence of abundant foam is an unfavorable factor. Moreover, ROKAnol GA7W has excellent degreasing, wetting properties (the lower the degree of ethoxylation of ROKAnol GA series, the better wetting properties) and detergent properties. For this reason, it can be successfully used as a component of cleaning and degreasing formulations. It is the very high degreasing capacity of this product that makes the product used in the processes of the tanning industry, in particular for degreasing leather in the wet process.

The product is also used, among others, in liquid and powder laundry detergents, where its high detergency is used. In detergency tests, both on a hard surface and on a standardized EMPA 125 fabric, at a concentration of 5 g/L, it shows the highest efficiency among all ROKAnol GA series. ROKAnol GA7W can be used both in professional cleaning agents and in specialized, acidic preparations, as well as in metal cleaners.

ROKAnol GA7W is perfect as an emulsifier. Its usefulness for individual systems depends on the hydrophilic-lipophilic balance (HLB), which directly correlates with the degree of ethoxylation. In addition, like all ROKAnol GA series, the product has dispersing properties.

ROKAnol GA7W is a product that is biodegradable in the natural environment and meets the criteria of the Detergents Directive.
