Cosmetic raw material Laureth-10 - ROKAnol L10 is a non-ionic surfactant belonging to the group of ethoxylated fatty alcohols, INCI name: Laureth-10. Co-creates a group of surfactants based on lauryl alcohol. It takes the form of a paste with a color of max. Hazen 70 at 40°C. ROKAnol L10 has very good solubility in water. The value of the HLB parameter for this product is approximately 14.1. The commercial product contains over 99% of the active substance and solidifies at about 30°C.

ROKAnol L10 is characterized by higher hydrophilicity compared to ROKAnol L7. It has additional emulsifying and solubilizing properties. With a high cloud point in water, it can be used in high temperature applications.

Thanks to its very good detergent, wetting, dispersing and emulsifying properties, the product is used as a basic surfactant in liquid and powder detergents, dishwashing liquids, household and technical cleaning agents and hand cleaners. In combination with ROKAnol LK3, it gives a high detergency effect and reduces the redeposition of dirt.

ROKAnol L10 can be used in the environment of oxidizing and reducing agents and hard water. It is activated in cold water, in acidic and neutral baths, as well as in diluted alkalis. It shows higher resistance to alkaline environment than ROKAnol L7. ROKAnol L10 can be used in a mixture with other non-ionic auxiliary agents and in mixtures with anionic and cationic surfactants. In a mixture with alkyl sulphates and alkylaryl sulphonates, it has a synergistic washing and cleaning effect.

Cosmetic raw material Laureth-10 - ROKAnol L10 works great in cosmetic preparations, e.g. for washing and care of the skin and hair, in color cosmetics, sunscreen, shaving and aftershave cosmetics. In addition, the product is used in fiber pre-treatment processes as a component of a formulation that removes oil stains (mineral oils) from fabrics/knitwear, which are the result of industrial knitting and weaving processes. Thanks to the wetting properties of cotton fabric, it can be used as a component of bleaching compositions for raw knitwear and cotton fabrics. It is also used in the final stage of the textile dyeing process as one of the components that removes excess dyes from the bath.

ROKAnol L10 is biodegradable in the natural environment.

• washing baths after dyeing fabrics/knitwear.
