Low-foaming agent - 120313-48-6 - ROKAnol LP100 belongs to the group of non-ionic surfactants of the alkoxylated fatty alcohol type. It belongs to the ROKAnol LP series, forming a large group of low-foaming products, dedicated to processes requiring non-ionic surfactants with particularly low foaming capacity, while maintaining application parameters - mainly in institutional and industrial cleaning processes.

At room temperature, the product takes the form of a clear or slightly turbid, low-viscosity liquid with a freezing point close to 9°C and a light color, i.e. max. 100 on the Hazen scale. ROKAnol LP100 contains about 95% of the active substance. Compared to low-foaming products, the product is characterized by high hydrophilicity and a high cloud point in water solution at the temperature level of 72÷76°C. ROKAnol LP100 dissolves very well in water, creating clear solutions, also at elevated temperatures.

Compared to standard non-ionic surfactants used in detergents (e.g. ethoxylated lauryl alcohol), the foaming capacity of ROKAnol LP100 is definitely lower while maintaining similar stability of the product in an alkaline environment. This is one of the most important advantages. By combining high alkali resistance with low foaming properties, the product is mainly used in alkaline detergents for professional industrial and institutional laundry. In such use, optimal detergency under alkaline conditions and low foaming are ensured, which may disturb the washing process, especially in continuous processes.

Due to the high content of the active substance and the low freezing point, ROKAnol LP100 is easily dosed into the formulation, especially in concentrated semi-finished products. The product also has a low tendency to gel, which prevents the dosing system from clogging in process conditions.

The product can also be used in other cleaning formulations with increased alkalinity, e.g. in preparations for washing bottles, as well as CIP (Clean In Place) processes, or as a defoaming agent for float water after the sugar beet washing process.

ROKAnol LP100 is biodegradable and meets all the criteria of Directive No. 648/2004 on detergents.
