The product has a pH close to neutral. It occurs in a colorless form, but it can also take on a light yellow color. At room temperature, it has a low viscosity, which results in good miscibility with other ingredients of the formulation. SULFOROKAnol L225/1, thanks to its very good washing, emulsifying and foaming properties, works very well as a component of cosmetic products from the group of personal hygiene products, which include, among others, gels and bubble baths, liquid soaps and hair shampoos. One of the very desirable features of SULFOROKAnol L225/1 is its ability to increase the viscosity of the formulation in combination with non-ionic and amphoteric surfactants and in the presence of electrolytes.

Another very important feature of Sulforocanol L225/1 is the ability to increase the viscosity of washing formulations in the presence of electrolytes and amphoteric (ROKAmina K30) or non-ionic (ROKAmid KAD) surfactants.

Thanks to its excellent foaming properties, SULFOROKAnol L225/1 is used as an ingredient in active foams in the automotive and firefighting industries. It works perfectly as a component of air-entraining admixtures for concrete, where it increases its resistance to low temperatures. The product is also used as an adjuvant ingredient in the agrochemical industry due to its ability to lower surface tension and surface contact angle. In addition, SULFOROKAnol L225/1, thanks to very good emulsifying properties, ensures optimal emulsification of monomers in reaction mixtures, thanks to which it is used in the production of aqueous polymer dispersions (vinyl acetate or acrylic). As an emulsifier, the product is also a component of hydraulic fluids and cutting fluids dedicated to various industries. Due to its very good detergent properties, SULFOROKAnol L225/1 is used in the tanning industry for washing and degreasing leather.
