Bar soap or liquid soap?

Publish date: 2017-03-22

Soap was already known in antiquity, it was used as a washing and washing agent. Only a dozen or so years ago, traditional bar soap reigned supreme in our bathrooms. Currently, the vast majority of us use liquid soap on a daily basis and cannot imagine going back to sticky soap dishes.

Thanks to soap, we can get rid of dirt that is difficult or impossible to remove using only water (soap particles penetrate water-insoluble dirt and dissolve it). Liquid soap is usually gentler on the skin of our hands than more concentrated bar soap, but it removes dirt just as effectively. The great advantage of liquid soap is its hygienic dispensing - thanks to the packaging with a pump, we wash our hands with a portion of soap that no one has touched before. Liquid soaps are available in various fragrances and colors - however, it is worth choosing those whose composition guarantees hydration and nourishment of the skin of the hands (e.g. Savantii soaps). The ecological advantage of this solution is the "stocks" for liquid soaps in large packages (even 5-liter!), which can be refilled in smaller bottles.
